One of the most difficult types of evidence to gather, interpret and then action is the qualitative experiences of individuals. Yet it is at the heart of most of the complex problems we face.
We harness the power of this experience and perspective at two levels:
At the individual level we specialise in gathering, interpreting and presenting direct voice to supplement traditional research methods and analytics. By putting the people back in with the statistics we can find the real solutions to complex problems.
At a community or organisational level we have developed a range of diagnostic tools and techniques that allow us to rapidly investigate issues, measure capacity and understand the collective impact of particular groups. We live in a complex world of relationships, networks, and information so we use cutting edge diagnostic tools to reveal the patterns that lead to new solutions.
Stories and visual cues are one of our earliest ways to make sense of the world around us. Stories bring meaning to experience. Pictures capture multiple concepts in a way our brain can respond to quickly.
New technology and techniques now make it possible to bring voice, stories and images into projects and our work environment. We use visual techniques and story telling in projects to stimulate the imagination, help interpret and understand complex information and deepen understanding and to communicate.
